    Food safety is a top priority for us, along with excellent product quality as regards taste and processing properties. We have implemented a sophisticated quality management system to guarantee both of these at all times.

    In this regard, we have always led the field. Which is why we were one of the first companies in the food sector to be certified according to ISO 9001 as early as 1995. We have been IFS Food certified since 2008 and have achieved the higher level rating every year since then. As we are constantly reviewing our quality and food safety management with a view to further optimisation, we decided to switch to FSSC 22000 certification in 2024. In addition to the comprehensive and holistic approach to food safety, this standard offers us a good opportunity to develop and optimise an integrated management system with our existing other certifications, such as ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management system) and ISO 50001 (energy management system), and thus to make greater use of synergies.

    The rigorous specialists on our test panel examine the sensory and haptic quality of our products every day. They sip and smell the coffee, taste the bread from our test bakery, and examine the colour, crust and crumb elasticity – ensuring that our products always hit the spot.
